When you arrive in our office you will be greeted by our friendly front office staff. Your pet's file will be prepared, his weight recorded and then a receptionist will accompany you and your pet to an exam room.

Heartgard Plus is a once-a-month chewable that is given to prevent heartworm disease and to treat and control ascarid and hookworm infections. We carry several different products for the prevention of Heartworms in your pet. Your pet must have a periodic blood test to rule out heartworm infection. These are prescription medications. We are competitive in our pricing with on-line vet supply services and stand behind all products that we sell.

Heartworm Products - Interceptor

Interceptor is a once-a-month flavor tab that is given orally to your pet. Interceptor prevents heartworm disease, controls adult hookworm infection, and removes and controls adult roundworms and whipworms in dogs and puppies and prevents heartworm disease and removes adult hookworms and roundworms in cats and kittens. These are prescription medications. We stand behind all products that we sell and are competitive in our pricing with the on-line vet supply services. A periodic blood test for heartworm infection is standard procedure. The Heartworm preventative that you choose for your pet is a decision that should be made with your pets veterinarians guidance.

Heartworm Products- Revolution

Revolution is a once a month topical product used for the prevention of Heartworm disease and to prevent and control flea infestations. It is recommended for use in dogs (6 weeks or older) and cats (8 weeks or older). It kills adult fleas and prevents flea eggs from hatching for one month. It prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis. It also treats and controls ear mite infestations. Before being prescribed Revolution, your pet will need a Heartworm test and will need to be periodically retested for heartworms.

Sentinel is a once-a-month flavored tablet that prevents Heartworm Disease and Flea Populations in Dogs and Puppies. It also controls flea populations, adult hookworm infections, removes and controls adult roundworm and whipworm infections in dogs and puppies. These are prescription medications and you should consult with your veterinarian before making the choice of which product is best for your pet. All heartworm medications require a periodic blood test.
